High School Intern Information
To welcome its 2023-2024 concert season, the Beaufort County Choral Society announced its new High School Choral Intern Program. The non-audition chorus invites all high school students in Beaufort County and surrounding areas who are interested in singing with an adult chorus. Public, private, and homeschoolers are welcome. Weekly rehearsals for our spring and winter concerts are scheduled at the First Presbyterian Church, 211 W. 2nd St., Washington, NC, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm on Monday evenings. The chorus also provides volunteer opportunities and community service credits to students who serve as stagehands and reception servers.
Dues are waived for all students, freshmen through seniors. A deposit of $20 on music is required but refunded when the music is returned to BCCS.
