Patrick Ritsch is currently finishing his master's degree in choral conducting at Eastern Carolina University. There, he studies conducting with Dr. James Franklin, voice with Professor Museop Kim, and vocal pedagogy with Dr. Jamie Rhodes and Professor Nicole Franklin. He serves as the assistant conductor for the ECU Concert Choir and teaches an undergraduate course in music fundamentals for non-music majors.
Prior to moving to Eastern North Carolina, he taught high school choir and musical theater in Indiana, where he also served as musical director for two theater departments. His undergraduate degree is in piano and voice from the University of Evansville. In addition to his work with the Beaufort County Choral Society and ECU, he is the organist and choirmaster at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
